Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dryer.
Regular Cleaning of Filters
Clean the filter after each drying cycle to prevent clogging. This ensures optimal airflow and drying efficiency. A clogged filter can lead to longer drying times and energy consumption.
Empty Water Container
Drain the condensed water container after each drying cycle. If it becomes full, the dryer will stop automatically, and the 'Tank' symbol will appear on the display.
Airflow Maintenance
Always keep the airflow slots on the bottom of the appliance clear. Ensure there is good airflow in the appliance installation position to maintain drying efficiency.
Heat Exchanger Cleaning
Inspect and clean the heat exchanger and its compartment regularly. If dirt accumulates, the 'Condenser' symbol will flash on the display. Use a vacuum cleaner or a wet cloth for cleaning.
Remove Fluff from Drum and Sensor
Periodically clean the drum and humidity sensor to ensure accurate drying results. Use a moist cloth to wipe the drum surface and sensor.
